IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Stats Preview

Lucknow Super Giants will square off against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 61st match of IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Monday. It will be a must-win game for the home team as they have suffered three back to back losses.

LSG have veered off the track and they would look to bounce back strongly after the break. The top three – Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, and Nicholas Pooran were doing the bulk of the scoring for LSG but the trio has looked a bit flat in the last few games.

Furthermore, mundane form of Rishabh Pant is a serious concern for Lucknow as the wicket-keeper bat has failed to lead from the front in his maiden edition as a captain for LSG.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad has already been knocked out of the tournament and they would aim to end their campaign on a high.

SRH head coach Daniel Vettori has revealed that Travis Head has Covid and he will miss this game.

When these two teams had met earlier in the season, LSG had won by five wickets.
