Punjab Kings will lock horns against Rajasthan Royals in the 18th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh on Saturday.
Punjab Kings have been unbeaten so far in the tournament, winning both of their matches whereas Rajasthan Royals have managed a solitary win in three games.
PBKS seems to have all the bases covered and has also ticked all the right boxes in the first two games. The bowlers have done a good job whereas the batters have also followed suit.
Shreyas Iyer has led from the front and he has been really proactive as a leader. Iyer has also scored two fifties in the first two games and he would want to carry the good show.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals’ full-time captain Sanju Samson will take back the captaincy baton from Riyan Parag. The Royals would want to come up with a consistent performance and deliver as a unit.
Yashasvi Jaiswal hasn’t got the runs at the top of the order and he would look to break his run drought.
