The table toppers Bengaluru Blasters will lock horns against Shivamogga Strikers in the 20th game of the ongoing Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 league. The Blasters, led by Mayank Agarwal, have won four out of their six matches in the ongoing season to sit at the top of the points table.
Shivamooga Strikers, on the other hand, have had a totally different tournament so far as they have managed a solitary win out of their six matches and they are struggling at the bottom of the standings.
Bengaluru Blasters won their previous match against Mangalore United by a massive margin of 66 runs. The Blasters had posted a par score of 191 runs after a fine fifty from Anirudha Joshi and vital contributions from Mayank Agarwal, Aneesh KV, and Shivkumar Rakshith.
On the other hand, Rishi Bopanna and Pradeep T scalped three wickets each to skittle out the opposition at a below-par score of 125 runs.
Meanwhile, Shivamogga Strikers won their first match of the season after beating Mysore Warriors by 13 runs. Sharath BR scored 53 runs for the team to help them post 174 runs on the board while captain Krishnappa Gowtham scalped two wickets and conceded only 22 runs in his quota of four overs.
Match Prediction: With the kind of form they are in, there is no doubt that Bengaluru Blasters will enter the contest as red-hot favorites against Shivamogga Strikers.
