Chennai Super Kings will lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Friday. CSK has won three out of their five matches whereas SRH has registered two wins in five games.
CSK’s batting had delivered in the previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore as they had posted a par score of 226 runs on the board after fifties from Devon Conway and Shivam Dube. Ajinkya Rahane has also done a good job for the team while batting at number three. However, CSK will want to come up with a better bowling performance.
But as they will be playing at their home venue of Chepauk, the spinners will come into action. The spin quartet of Mitchell Santner, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, and Maheesh Theekshana have done a good job for the team so far. Moreover, Matheesha Pathirana had impressed on his IPL debut for CSK.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their previous game against Mumbai Indians by 14 runs and they will be looking to get back to winning ways. Mayank Agarwal’s form is a concern for the team as he has failed to give solid starts at the top of the order. The middle order will also look to do a better job for the team.
Match Prediction: Chennai Super Kings will enter the contest as favorites against Sunrisers Hyderabad as they will be playing in their own conditions.
