Two bottom-placed teams – Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals – will take on each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi in the ongoing IPL 2025 on Tuesday. Both teams have managed three wins, but RR have played one more game and this would be their last game of the season.
Both CSK and RR would look to avoid the wooden spoon tag and end their campaign on a high. It has been a forgettable season for both of these teams and they would look to come up with a collective show as they play for their pride.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals suffered a 10-run loss against the Punjab Kings in their last game. RR head coach Rahul Dravid was not impressed with the bowling effort and said they conceded 20 runs more than what they should have.
Furthermore, despite a solid start from openers – Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi – RR veered off the track in the middle phase of the run chase.
On the other hand, CSK captain MS Dhoni has not yet revealed anything about his IPL future, and it has been reported that he m return to play next year.
